FVBS makes getting ready for permitting and inspections easy and convenient with our onsite engineering consultation services.

Every Tuesday and Thursday, a professional civil engineer (P.Eng) is onsite at our Mission store to review building plans to assess structural design, truss layout and beam sizing, and to perform load calculations.

Drop off your plans any time, or stop by when our engineer is in. Our goal is to provide a maximum 7-day turnaround.

Engineered floor plan conversions

Looking for an alternative to dimensional wood framing? We also provide estimates using engineered wood, giving you another option for framing. Some of the many advantages of engineered wood include increased load capacity and larger spans, which require fewer materials.
